WILD WEST

Image
HEYYY! Welp comin at you this week from the WILD WEST because this week was pretty chaotic not going to lie. Sister Hanni and I are currently serving the Sammamish Valley sisters this transfer! They are about an hour away from where I am serving now which is why this week has been crazy. Its been a lot of travel time for exchanges and blitz'. On the positive side... Its so lit because I got to go back to my last area on exchange. Paulina was sad she missed my birthday so she legit threw me an impromptu bday bash! I missed them so much.  Also helped with my third funeral in the last 6 weeks on Friday and for the next 2 weeks there are more.  Again, It has been very eye opening and humbling to be able to serve people who are in some of the hardest times of their life right now. I feel very grateful for the things I have been reminded of because of it. Family matters so much! Our relationships on this earth really matter because thats who we will be with after this life. Hey!!! This will be just a quickie!  Main update Cameron got baptized! Cameron has been taught for a couple transfers now by some of my bffs who were previously serving in Renton and things finally lined up so he was able to get baptized on Saturday. It was so fun to help him prepare a lil and see him so happy on his special day, hes quite the funny dude so it was a HOOT! ALSO Sister Melton left me! She got transferred on Friday and I picked up my new comp Sister Hanni! Sister Melton was a super good example to me and I learned a lot from her. Twas sad to part ways BUT my new comp has been so fun! Im excited to hang with her this transfer. That's all boys  MORE PICS

Hey all my favorite people! Its been a pretty good week in Renton!  Highlights: -THE SUN CAME OUT AGAIN  -Lots of service  -Cracking up with Sister Melton  Got to be honest, some of the service we did this week was MAD HUMBLING  We did some cleaning for a sweet family who does not have the best living conditions. To be frank I dont want to share all of the deets just out of respect but it was pretty rough.  Thankfully the lord has been preparing me for this with experiences like moving into the elders apartment and doing the slipts into their toilet if you remember that from a while back... ANYWAY on a more serious note, it was a really cool experience to clean for this family. It gave me a tiny glimpse into what the Savior is like. He has unconditional love for each of us. It felt good leaving their house knowing that we did what the Savior would have, if He were still on Earth.  How cool is it that we get to be the Savior's hands and feet on the...

Ya y I've been alive 20 years!!! Guess you could say I'm old now. Legit no longer a teenager. Not cool...  GRATEFUL for my sweet family and dear friends who made my birthday extra special!! I spent the day in a long meeting lol but it was so fun to see and smooch some friends! We finished off the day with a nice dinner at Olive Garden shoutout to Kstew n Dave, twas a good time and im very grateful  ALSO its been a year since I got my mission call, what on earth. Crazy to reflect on the reasons I chose to serve a mission and the reasons why I choose to stay! I have LOVED my time in WA even though there are some minor challenges that come here and there. However... such is life  This week was honestly super solid. Went to top golf last pday. THAT WAS LIT. BDAY WAS LIT. MLC WAS LIT. GENERAL CONFERENCE WAS LIT. Real good week all around  We are teaching Rick. Shout out to my uncle Rick! I think of good ole Uncle Rick when we teach our friend Rick! Anywho, our f...

Easter

HAPPY EASTER BESTIES!!!!! Back again!! Wow what a week!  This week we went on exchange with the Benson Hill sisters! I went with Sister Huffmire and now we are bffs so thats a plus!!!  FUNNY MOMENT: Mixed in with all the sad stuff this week, there were sure some good times. Had a great time getting flashed by a lady showing us some workouts in ONLY a night gown. I mean ONLY a night gown. Tbh highlight of my week. Freakin funny  Funerals  A lot of time was put in this week to help prepare, run and take down the funerals for the Wilcoxson and Brown families. All the missionaries in our zone attended 2 of the funerals for 3 sweet kiddos that were taken too soon. I can't even really describe the experience that it was to be there. Both families shared beautiful, fun memories of the kids and strong testimony of their faith that they will be together again. I didn't know the people who passed but I can't help but feel for their sweet families. For sure had a massive headac...
