DEER City

ONE MORE WEEK UNTIL SEATTLE

Time in the MTC is so odd. I feel like I just got here but at the same time it's felt like 2 months. The days are so long that I can't even remember what happened yesterday. I wish I could just vlog all the highlights of my day. So much has happened that I just want to share so bad but by the time PDAY gets here I can't remember or express it's significance. A few things that I CAN think of:

-I was asked to give the opening prayer in our class. We always start with a song beforehand and conveniently it was the song "Did You Think to Pray." Well... guess who forgot to pray. ME️ That just cracked me up!

-GRANDMA GOT RUNOVER BY A REINDEER:
and by grandma... I mean me....and by "got runover" I mean almost got runover.
Basically somehow DEER weasel their way into the MTC gates and just wonder around campus. We've seen a couple from afar and it's fun. However one night after a devotional, Sister Phelps, my companion, and I walked over to our meeting spot with the rest of the group. We were on the top of a hill which is in-between buildings at the MTC. I was on my phone when A DEER just runs within like 3 feet of us to the other side. Just a funny and slightly alarming story. Hope that bro can find his way outta this place

-I am handling some really tricky circumstances that I know I wouldn't be able to without relying on the Savior. So thankful for all my awesome friends who are here with me!!! I get to see so many people at meals and just walking around. They've been saving my booty

-These Elders crack me up. They are all just straight outta high-school. They help keep it a good balance of humor to Missionary work! Sister Clawson and I don't really help in that mix haha. We are most of the time just slap happy in class but don't worry we also stay focused on our duties!! I wouldn't survive without them

I'm pumped to be free of the food and tummy issues here. Looking forward to a lit plane ride with my buddies who are also going to Seattle. Hope all is well in the good ole town of Syracuse or wherever you're reading this from! I love you guys so much!!! Til next week.
