Last Week At MTC

Another week down! Tomorrow I'll be waking up at 3 am to head to the airport and catch a flight to SEATTLE!! I'm nervous about getting my 3 fat suitcases there with me but I'm pumped about everything else! This week was really good!!!! I love my district and it's been so sad to say goodbye. Half of them are heading to their missions today. 


Some things to note from this week:


-Sister Clawson flipped off our class on accident 
-We just got back from switching our laundry and Sister McMartin realized SHE DROPPED HER BRA in the middle of where everyone walks at the mtc! Shes so embarrassed but it was so funny. Luckily we quickly realized and went back to pick it up before too many people saw
-Dale the snail: I found a snail and brought him to the temple grounds with me. 
-New comp: Sister Fonua joined Sister Phelps and I this week. She's been thrown around in several different companionships while she's waiting for her VISA. She's been in the mtc for over 3 months and is a trooper!!! She's so funny and chill so its been fun to have her with us our last week!
-I'm known as the griddy girl: Apparently some of the boys here have seen Sister Clawson and I griddying around campus so now we are getting called that which is a meme 
- Antony The Ant was our class pet for a day and was climbing around on Sister McMartin during class 
-I brought my Minion watch that has a projector on it and it's been so fun to just project minions everywhere  


I have learned so much since being here and I'm pumped to teach my new friends in Washington! I loved this scripture! Especially as a Missionary, it gives me so much comfort that the lord will provide 


Alma 26:27 
"Now when our hearts were depressed, and we were about to turn back, behold, the Lord comforted us, and said: Go amongst thy brethren, the Lamanites, and bear with patience thine afflictions, and I will give unto you success."

Heyyy bffs! This week was absolutely nuts, I swear the weeks keep getting more chaotic everytime.  My BESTIE KAILEY SANNAR left me, then I was in a LIT trio with Sister Johnson and Sister Debloois! They are so fun. We went on a GOOD dab spree for those couple days. However during our time together we each got white wash calls (which means they take all the missionaries out of the area and replace them with new ones). Moral of the story, all together we whitewashed 4 areas. So that was interesting, kinda stressful but we survived. TRANSFERS: I love going to transfers and seeing so many friends!! I got transferred to good ole R-Town. Renton is more south in the mission than I'm used to so I'm excited for a change. South= a more humble crowd and it's already been very cool to see how willing/open people are to learning more about Jesus Christ.  My new companion is Sister Melton, she is a sweetie cutie petite little dumpling sugar plum! Not So Funny

This week was awesome!!  We did lots of service and got to help out with all the kiddos in church yesterday! PRIMARY PROGRAM GOES CRAZY, we've been helping them prepare for their performance for a couple weeks now so it was really fun to see it put all together! Also a miracle that I got some of my bffs to sing #blessup  FUNNY (not so funny) moment of the week: we had to drop our friend. Sadly one of our friends.... was tryna be a lil more than friends with Sister Wallis. He had me straight up third wheeling so that was amusing but not for Sister Wallis. Rip Gary. Officially been a missionary for 4 months!! Even though I have a lot more time left, I've been reflecting on what I've experienced so far! Quite sure I say this every week, but I have been SO blessed! It is WILD to see how what I believe has changed and grown. It is a miracle in itself that I am here serving but even more so how many good things I have been given while doing so! HAPPY MONDAY!!!  Got to go to the temple on Friday with friends and it was SO fun! We grubbed at cafe rio after and this dude was tryna get our church address but it was a little sus how bad he wanted it so we are gonna send the Elders his way Funny story from this week! I was on an exchange with the stls and a car of boys asked for our numbers. It was a pretty funny interaction telling them how we are on missions and we don't date for a couple years Anyway enough with the weird things that happened... this week so awesome! Sister Hatt and I are bffs!!! We get cracked up about stuff all the time and I feel so grateful that she is my companion, the transfer is flying by so im gettin a wee bit nervous that change could be coming my way.
