Sanitizer Failed Me

My district in the MTC knows I was drenched in hand sanitizer the whole 2 weeks we were there but sadly I think the traveling and little sleep got to me! I picked up a bug this week so that made it tricky for my comp and I to get things done since we've been lowkey dying. ALSO pretty much no one in Washington has AC (barf). SO.... In addition to our sickness, we've also been pressing forward through some HEAT.
ANYWAYS nuf of the complaints, this week was bomb! 


We had New Missionary Training on Tuesday and Zone Conference on Wednesday so I got to see my friends. I love them SO much (Shout out Sister Westergard, Elder Akerlow and Elder Wood)!!! Plus both days were literally so good!! It's so fun to be with all the missionaries and our mission leaders!
On Thursday Sister Rush and I died. the busy week and sickness caught up to us and our bodies said NAH, but nevertheless we finished out the day strong and did our duties.


Friday and Saturday were a good ️RESTART️ for us! We got back into the groove of things with some awesome member lessons and attempting to find people to teach! I think a big part of our work in this area is just giving people a positive experience with our church. Sometimes it's hard when we don't have many people to teach but I feel grateful for the opportunity to simply visit and get to know a variety of different people here!!! 
Saturday night the Che family took us out to dinner at Dough Zone and it was so good. BLESS UP! 


Take aways from the mish so far:
- I LOVE THE PEOPLE: my new bffs are 70-80 years old and it's so fun to hangout with them. I wish I could visit Sister Lukrofka and Brother Krey everyday!!!!!! 
- Everyday there's something new and possibly uncomfortable but I keep feeling excited to wake up and do it again
- Miss my family and my friends
- Dave (my father) loves to send me voice recordings of him singing (he's not a singer) throughout the week, it's awesome 
- The missionaries who have been out a lot longer than me have an interesting sense of humor. Catch me ONLY making church jokes in 18 months
- Probably gonna be saying this in every email forever but it's SO pretty here and my lovely galaxy phone camera does it so dirty


Seeing so many good things from God lately!!! Plus im especially grateful for all of you that are on my email list. Praying for you!!!!!!

Heyyy bffs! This week was absolutely nuts, I swear the weeks keep getting more chaotic everytime.  My BESTIE KAILEY SANNAR left me, then I was in a LIT trio with Sister Johnson and Sister Debloois! They are so fun. We went on a GOOD dab spree for those couple days. However during our time together we each got white wash calls (which means they take all the missionaries out of the area and replace them with new ones). Moral of the story, all together we whitewashed 4 areas. So that was interesting, kinda stressful but we survived. TRANSFERS: I love going to transfers and seeing so many friends!! I got transferred to good ole R-Town. Renton is more south in the mission than I'm used to so I'm excited for a change. Not So Funny

This week was awesome!!  We did lots of service and got to help out with all the kiddos in church yesterday! PRIMARY PROGRAM GOES CRAZY, we've been helping them prepare for their performance for a couple weeks now so it was really fun to see it put all together! Also a miracle that I got some of my bffs to sing #blessup  FUNNY (not so funny) moment of the week: we had to drop our friend. Sadly one of our friends.... was tryna be a lil more than friends with Sister Wallis. He had me straight up third wheeling so that was amusing but not for Sister Wallis. Rip Gary. Officially been a missionary for 4 months!! Even though I have a lot more time left, I've been reflecting on what I've experienced so far! Quite sure I say this every week, but I have been SO blessed! It is WILD to see how what I believe has changed and grown. It is a miracle in itself that I am here serving but even more so how many good things I have been given while doing so! HAPPY MONDAY!!!  Got to go to the temple on Friday with friends and it was SO fun! We grubbed at cafe rio after and this dude was tryna get our church address but it was a little sus how bad he wanted it so we are gonna send the Elders his way Funny story from this week! I was on an exchange with the stls and a car of boys asked for our numbers. It was a pretty funny interaction telling them how we are on missions and we don't date for a couple years Anyway enough with the weird things that happened... this week so awesome! Sister Hatt and I are bffs!!! We get cracked up about stuff all the time and I feel so grateful that she is my companion, the transfer is flying by so im gettin a wee bit nervous that change could be coming my way.
