CONFERENCE CITY

This week was so fun!


Quick recap: Loved zone council, zone conference, and new missionary training pt 2!! Meetings = friends so I LOVE them! Plus... GENERAL CONFERENCE 

 
I had the weirdest experience. Sister Hatt and I were driving home for the night after our last appointment. We passed a bus stop that this lady was standing at. I had the thought that we needed to stop and give a Book of Mormon to her but it was late and super random so I kept fighting myself about it the rest of the ride home. I knew I would regret it if we didnt turn back so before our last turn to get back home, I finally told Sister Hatt. Luckily she was totally on board with my crazy idea and the lady at the bus stop was still there! We were able to talk with her for a little about the Book of Mormon and the bible before she got on the bus. Although we may never see the bus stop lady ever again, it was a good experience for us to talk with her and hopefully have made her feel loved!!! 


We watched General Conference this weekend too!! Which means we listened to lots of talks given by some of the leaders in our church! It was really fun to watch with missionaries and at member's houses! If you didn't get time to watch it, no worries ;) I'll give you the rundown of my favorites and you can listen to them later 


Saturday: I loved the talk by Tamara W. Runia! It's focused on loving unconditionally!!! We should all strive to LOVE first as Jesus Christ would 


Sunday: Dieter F. Uchtdorf spoke on a similar topic! He shared the story of the Prodigal Son, how we can embrace everyone and celebrate eachothers success! AMEN to that 


I seriously LOVED this week! Ending this email feeling super blessed for my awesome family and friends!! Grateful to be a missionary, for the opportunities I am given each day and my Savior, Jesus Christ!!!! 


Btw I still love all of you SO much! Hope you have THE BEST WEEK!!!!

Greetings From RENTON

Heyyy bffs! This week was absolutely nuts, I swear the weeks keep getting more chaotic everytime.  My BESTIE KAILEY SANNAR left me, then I was in a LIT trio with Sister Johnson and Sister Debloois! They are so fun. We went on a GOOD dab spree for those couple days. However during our time together we each got white wash calls (which means they take all the missionaries out of the area and replace them with new ones). Moral of the story, all together we whitewashed 4 areas. So that was interesting, kinda stressful but we survived. TRANSFERS: I love going to transfers and seeing so many friends!! I got transferred to good ole R-Town. Renton is more south in the mission than I'm used to so I'm excited for a change. South= a more humble crowd and it's already been very cool to see how willing/open people are to learning more about Jesus Christ.  My new companion is Sister Melton, she is a sweetie cutie petite little dumpling sugar plum! Not So Funny

This week was awesome!!  We did lots of service and got to help out with all the kiddos in church yesterday! PRIMARY PROGRAM GOES CRAZY, we've been helping them prepare for their performance for a couple weeks now so it was really fun to see it put all together! Also a miracle that I got some of my bffs to sing #blessup  FUNNY (not so funny) moment of the week: we had to drop our friend. Sadly one of our friends.... was tryna be a lil more than friends with Sister Wallis. He had me straight up third wheeling so that was amusing but not for Sister Wallis. Rip Gary. Officially been a missionary for 4 months!! Even though I have a lot more time left, I've been reflecting on what I've experienced so far! Quite sure I say this every week, but I have been SO blessed! It is WILD to see how what I believe has changed and grown. It is a miracle in itself that I am here serving but even more so how many good things I have been given while doing so! HAPPY MONDAY!!!  Got to go to the temple on Friday with friends and it was SO fun! We grubbed at cafe rio after and this dude was tryna get our church address but it was a little sus how bad he wanted it so we are gonna send the Elders his way Funny story from this week! I was on an exchange with the stls and a car of boys asked for our numbers. It was a pretty funny interaction telling them how we are on missions and we don't date for a couple years Anyway enough with the weird things that happened... this week so awesome! Sister Hatt and I are bffs!!! We get cracked up about stuff all the time and I feel so grateful that she is my companion, the transfer is flying by so im gettin a wee bit nervous that change could be coming my way.
