Spooked In Every Way
Yo this week was WILD!
Transfers AND Halloween coming up this week has me spooked!!! So pumped for Halloween because it has been giving us so many good missionary opportunities! We had a community Halloween party hosted at our ward building on Saturday so we got to invite so many new people! We helped set up and take down the whole thing which was lots of fun and had me DEAD so i slept like a rock that night.
I've had 100 melt downs about what could possibly happen this week with transfers and its killing me not knowing if I will move out of this area or what! I find out a little more about what will happen tomorrow!! (all my emotions rn) Don't worry most of my melt downs are just me assuming the most outrageous transfer news possible and then telling Sister Hatt that I'm going to die. This is not the case. I will be fine. So dont worry quite yet, all is well currently, I just love this area, my ward, and Sister Hatt so I would be perfectly content staying here forever. That's all.
ALL CRACKED UP:
Sister Hatt is pretty tall and this guy in our ward is super concerned about her back. Everytime we see him he goes over some back stretches with her and its quite amusing to watch, idk why he's not concerned about my back.. im tall too.
In preparation for the Halloween party we helped set up a little on Wednesday and it was honestly mass chaos. After, Sister Hatt and I rode all the way home listening to instrumental music to decompress from our time there. Midway through that we both cracked up at how funny it was that we had to even do that, just picture us exhasted and silently listening to piano music at a stop light. That'll do.
Yesterday my bishop spoke in our church meeting and gave one of the best talks. He really focused on how we can make EVERYONE around us feel loved and welcome!!! Easier said than done but it is so true! The two great commandments are to LOVE God and LOVE our neighbor!!! May each of us focus on loving people FIRST and strive to see them through the eyes of Jesus Christ!
Love you with all my heart! I know that each of us have our own individual struggles and hardships that weigh upon our hearts. Jesus Christ knows exactly what YOU are going through and He can help you find more joy, peace and love in your life! Grateful for each one of you.
Kinda a longer email from me this week so if you made it this far... you a real one. Catch me next week with the REAL transfer news! Prayers are being sent up fr.
