Christmas In Cottage Lake
Merry Christmas!!!!
I hope by the time you're reading this email that you've opened some gifts from Santa and have some fun, festive plans for the rest of your day.
I've had quite the week so let me give y'all the rundown...
First of all, it was KSTEW's bday on Wednesday!! It was so fun to call her an extra day this week, shoutout to the best mom EVER
On Thursday, we had a mission wide conference so I got to see all my besties (minus some that were sick cough cough @EW RIP)!! Always so good to chat it up and learn a thing or two from the devotionals.
Friday morning we helped one of our bffs in the ward with a neighborhood CANDY CANE HUNT. She had Sister Wally dress up as the Elf and I was Mrs. Claus! It was the biggest meme of my life. The kids were so cute and we had so much fun helping!!!
A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE: We have been absolutely SPOILED this christmas by members in both of our wards. For christmas this year we got to spend it with....not one.... not two.... but THREE WARDS!!! Guess what?!?! One of my bffs in the cottage lake ward️ (from my last area) invited Sister Wallis and I over for Christmas morning and we got permission to go! It truly is a tender mercy for me because Christmas in Cottage Lake was secretly my dream. Feeling so blessed that I got BOTH!
While Christmas away from the fam isn't preferred, I've been so grateful to be spending it as a missionary! So thankful for such good family, friends and members who have taken great care of me and of course the reason for the season, my Savior, Jesus Christ!
Matthew 1:23
"Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us."
God IS with us! I know our Heavenly Father and Redeemer are very involved in each of our lives!! May each of us strive to look for the miracles they are working!!!
Jesus loves you and I LOVE YOU!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOODNIGHT, see y'all next year
