Shenanigans

¡Hola amigos!

Nope I'm not an Hermana. Just spicing things up here. Anywho, twas a great week per usual!

WEATHER SHENANIGANS:
Washington has been in the 40s-50s thus far but this week the weather decided to drop to the 20s which I'll admit has been a wee bit chilly. HOWEVER.. its mostly amusing to hear people talk about it. We got like a centimeter of snow and they delayed school. I find it hilarious. For me its been the best winter ever. (Don't tell my mom but until this week I haven't really worn even a jacket) I mean don't get me wrong it was fun to get some snow and feel a little at home but I am sure grateful I'm not digging my car out of the Snow Hall parking lot at USU right now.

MISSION MUSIC:
Phew. It's been quite the past few months without some good tunes. I'm becoming more aware of how desolate my resources are in the music department. I've recently discovered myself crankin up that classical instrumental music radio station after listening to KLOVE or the other few Christian radio stations at hand. Quite sad when you realize mozart is HITTIN on the way to teach a lesson. Tbh can't remember if I've wrote about this in an email before but if I have... maybe it will just REALLY emphasize how wonderful music on a mission truly is.️

Quick Update :)
My bff Paulina is still well on her way to baptism!!! It has truly been a miracle to been apart of God working in her life and see how He has prepared her to meet us.

AHHHHHH T minus approximately 9 days until Sister Wallis abandons me, phattest RIP ever!!! She is a great companion and I have learned so much from her. It's starting to feel real that the transfer is coming up. I tend to get a tad bit nervous around this time especially with so many of my good friends leaving as well!!!! Isn't that so mean that everyone is leaving me?!?! #fake

A lady shared this quote in church yesterday. "It is easy to doubt God's existence if you dont have any experience with Him."
My mission has been a wonderful opportunity for me to take the time to have experiences with God. As a result, I've witnessed miracles and have been able to recognize them more often!! Sometimes it seems so odd that reading scriptures or praying would increase my ability to feel Him near but I can honestly say it does! I feel so grateful for my experiences with Him

I had a great week and I'm really looking forward to the plans we coming have this week too!!! It's gonna be LIT! Love you all SO much

Peace
