Splits On Splits

Image
Yo what up dawgz I would say this week qualifies as one of the most crazy weeks of my mission thus far So let me get into this already  Alright, started off the week strong with an exchange or SPLIT (as some might say) with the Hermanas. Got into that EspaƱol grind. Hermana Ochoa is a really good missionary and I learned a lot from her. Plus, i love her style so i did some snooping in her closet hehe  Wednesday we had zone council, interviews and then exchanged with the STLT's. I got to head to BURIEN 4 the night. Twas a good time checking out an area in the south. I've been raised a northern gal in this mission and things get a little more interesting in the south. Anywho the night trip was 10/10. The apartment that the missionaries stay in there is way nice too so that was lit as well!  Thursday we exchanged back, traveled to institute in Bothell, THEN GET THIS.... WE MOVED INTO A NEW HUT. So basically we moved 2 floors down into the old Elders apartment....

7 MONTHS as a missionary! Lowkey flyinggggg,  this transfer has been WILD. So busy and chaotic but I'm here for it. So listen here boys, let me give you the weekly rundown... This week we went to the temple not once but TWICE, we got to take Paulina to do baptisms for the first time and it was so cool. I feel so lucky that I've gotten to be with her for the entire process!  THEN Sister Sannar and I planned a fun little VALENTINES party for some of the Sisters in our area, we decked out our apartment for the festivities and it was a hoot! Pretty much the main event of the mission if i do say so myself. NEW PHONE WHO DIS My phone got absolutely wrecked RIP. It was so uncalled for too. It just dropped from my chair to the floor and then shattered. I was really adventuring offline for a minute there. moral of the story not that big of a deal but just had to share my slightly funny and inconvenient fun fact of the week  The scripture I've been tryna memorize thi...

Moldy Flowers & Poopy Tubs

WELP what a week!!!  I'll be taking my pday very seriously today. Definitely in need of some recovery time! HOWEVER this week was soooo fun and funny! Quick run down:  This week I got to hangout with Sister Johnson on exchange, we had zone conference, butchered some spanish while on exchange with Hermana Taylor (which btw I went to high school with her, she's in our stake in Syracuse and it was so fun to catch up. Small world) MOLDY FLOWERS + POOPY TUBS:  Our exchange was so funny! The Hermana's get to do service/ gardening at the temple every friday and I got to join that this week. Long story short, the guy wanted us to salvage these flowers that had been frozen and turned MOLDY in the rain. Ngl didn't know plants could get like that but we were able to save some... kinda.  THEN the poor hermanas plumbing system crashed this week. Basically they had sewage water filling up their bath tub from the drain. Quite lovely. Anywho, while I was there th...

I Saw The Sun

Just a quickie update  This week had me zonked for absolutely no reason. It's been quite wonderful in Sammamish Valley so im not sure why this week was so exhausting. Might still be recovering from the hectic transfer week. On the positive note, Sister Sannar and I are about to be SO ripped from laughing 24/7. On my way to a full 8 pack with this girl. We are laughing at the price of our sleep these dayz but #worthit TONS of service and went TRACTING this week, got some solid doors slammed our face. It's honestly just amusing how mean people can be. Great reminder that how you treat other people matters. AnYwHo... still ADORE Sammamish Valley... PLUS THE SUN CAME OUT THIS WEEEK!!!!!!!! Was hoping for a tan... still working on that part but thankful for any sliver of vitamin D!!!!  Super grateful to be a missionary. What a blessing it is to meet and LOVE so many people  That's all for this week brothas!  PEACE  MORE PICS
