Splits On Splits

Yo what up dawgz


I would say this week qualifies as one of the most crazy weeks of my mission thus far


So let me get into this already 


Alright, started off the week strong with an exchange or SPLIT (as some might say) with the Hermanas. Got into that Español grind. Hermana Ochoa is a really good missionary and I learned a lot from her. Plus, i love her style so i did some snooping in her closet hehe 


Wednesday we had zone council, interviews and then exchanged with the STLT's. I got to head to BURIEN 4 the night. Twas a good time checking out an area in the south. I've been raised a northern gal in this mission and things get a little more interesting in the south. Anywho the night trip was 10/10. The apartment that the missionaries stay in there is way nice too so that was lit as well! 


Thursday we exchanged back, traveled to institute in Bothell, THEN GET THIS.... WE MOVED INTO A NEW HUT. So basically we moved 2 floors down into the old Elders apartment.... 


Let me just tell ya a fun, but slightly vulgar story real quick. Not going to lie here.. those sweetie boys were not the most clean... especially in the bathroom (i will just let you do some imagination of what that might look like) lets just say the toilet and shower were quite alarming. Moving on... our new hut was a wreck, suitcases all over the place and mass chaos was occurring in the SAMM. While were were unpacking the bathroom it wasnt smelling very good so Sister Sannar gave the room a good ole douse with the febreeze, which gave the floor a nice coating as well. Moral of the story, i stepped over a suitcase, and slipped right into the SPLITS and landed right next to the death toilet. I might add that I don't normally slide into the splits too easily. Anyways you could say that was an L of the week but I'd call it a WIN. It had Sister Sannar and I CRYING, laughing so hard 


Friday we got to go to Mercer Island for a meeting! The meeting was a wee bit long for a girl like me but fun nonetheless. Saturday we attempted to get back in the groove and Sunday we got hit with a sweet little bug so im currently ill, but all is well. It came in pretty good timing all things considered.


So that was my week, love/hate the crazy but I sure love JESUS, Sister Sannar and Sammamish thinking and praying for you often!!!!

Heyyy bffs! This week was absolutely nuts, I swear the weeks keep getting more chaotic everytime.  My BESTIE KAILEY SANNAR left me, then I was in a LIT trio with Sister Johnson and Sister Debloois! They are so fun. We went on a GOOD dab spree for those couple days. However during our time together we each got white wash calls (which means they take all the missionaries out of the area and replace them with new ones). Moral of the story, all together we whitewashed 4 areas. So that was interesting, kinda stressful but we survived. TRANSFERS: I love going to transfers and seeing so many friends!! I got transferred to good ole R-Town. Renton is more south in the mission than I'm used to so I'm excited for a change. South= a more humble crowd and it's already been very cool to see how willing/open people are to learning more about Jesus Christ.  My new companion is Sister Melton, she is a sweetie cutie petite little dumpling sugar plum! Not So Funny

This week was awesome!!  We did lots of service and got to help out with all the kiddos in church yesterday! PRIMARY PROGRAM GOES CRAZY, we've been helping them prepare for their performance for a couple weeks now so it was really fun to see it put all together! Also a miracle that I got some of my bffs to sing #blessup  FUNNY (not so funny) moment of the week: we had to drop our friend. Sadly one of our friends.... was tryna be a lil more than friends with Sister Wallis. He had me straight up third wheeling so that was amusing but not for Sister Wallis. Rip Gary. Officially been a missionary for 4 months!! Even though I have a lot more time left, I've been reflecting on what I've experienced so far! Quite sure I say this every week, but I have been SO blessed! It is WILD to see how what I believe has changed and grown. It is a miracle in itself that I am here serving but even more so how many good things I have been given while doing so! HAPPY MONDAY!!!  Got to go to the temple on Friday with friends and it was SO fun! We grubbed at cafe rio after and this dude was tryna get our church address but it was a little sus how bad he wanted it so we are gonna send the Elders his way Funny story from this week! I was on an exchange with the stls and a car of boys asked for our numbers. It was a pretty funny interaction telling them how we are on missions and we don't date for a couple years Anyway enough with the weird things that happened... this week so awesome! Sister Hatt and I are bffs!!! We get cracked up about stuff all the time and I feel so grateful that she is my companion, the transfer is flying by so im gettin a wee bit nervous that change could be coming my way. However, I know that whatever happens will be for a reason and it will help me learn and grow!!!  As I have been more immersed in the scriptures on my mission, I have found so much joy through reading the Bible and the Book of Mormon!
