Greetings From RENTON
Heyyy bffs!
This week was absolutely nuts, I swear the weeks keep getting more chaotic everytime.
My BESTIE KAILEY SANNAR left me, then I was in a LIT trio with Sister Johnson and Sister Debloois! They are so fun. We went on a GOOD dab spree for those couple days. However during our time together we each got white wash calls (which means they take all the missionaries out of the area and replace them with new ones). Moral of the story, all together we whitewashed 4 areas. So that was interesting, kinda stressful but we survived.
TRANSFERS: I love going to transfers and seeing so many friends!! I got transferred to good ole R-Town. Renton is more south in the mission than I'm used to so I'm excited for a change. South= a more humble crowd and it's already been very cool to see how willing/open people are to learning more about Jesus Christ.
My new companion is Sister Melton, she is a sweetie cutie petite little dumpling sugar plum! I served with her in Bothell and she was my STL there! Its been so fun thus far!
WE GOT FLASHED:
My first night in Renton, right after transfers, we had a bomb dinner with some members. While we were sharing a message with them, their 3 year old WALKED OUT BUTT NAKED! Tbh not that big of a deal but pretty funny on like no sleep and after a long day.
I LOVE FRONT PORCH LESSONS!!!
When we can't enter a home, sometimes we will get to teach a lesson outside. My first full day in renton we stopped by an old contact and met our new bff RICK. Rick is from Hawaii and is super sweet. He wants to feel less stressed and knew that talking to missionaries before had helped him. We taught him about the gospel of Jesus Christ on the steps to his apartment! He came to church on sunday and he wants to meet with us again!!!! YAY 4 RICK + YAY 4 MIRACLES!
Not going to lie... im a bit pooped, and i miss my old area. I LOVED Sammamish, the members, the friends and the companions that i served with there. I said some hard goodbyes this week. Which is probably the most difficult part of my mission so far. I love making so many awesome friends but leaving them is SO hard!!
I'll definitely be trying to focus more on trusting in the Savior and in his plan for me. I am pumped to get to know this area more and meet new friends here
Proverbs 3:5-6
5 ¶ Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths
Love you all so much!! Praying for you
