Got Hitched

Image
Guess who got hitched?!?! The title is good click bate but Cameron and Tracy fr got married this week. (If you remember Cameron is a guy we were teaching. He got baptized last transfer)  That was probably the highlight of my week. They are pretty entertaining tbh so im not going to lie it made for good people watching. They have their dogs dress up in bow ties and bishop married them. Good stuff.  Another BIG HIGHLIGHT of my week was that i got to go back to Bothell (my first zone) on exchange with Sister Gray. Sister Gray is such a good friend and freakin funny!! My exchange was pretty lucky too because I got to attend the Ensign Symphony choir with her and someone they are teaching. That meant we got to go to Seattle (which is actually technically out of our mission). I went there around Christmas but it was fun to be there again and see the city as the sun was setting!  OH ALSO one of my good friends from college, Sister Jada Bell, is serving in the Washington Eve...

Good week!!! Quick rundown: We had an all mission pday last Monday, interviews and zone council on Tuesday, a packed day full of service on Wednesday, Thursday we had zone conference and volleyball, Friday we had a really good lesson with Shodee and Dorothy, and on Saturday I spent the day in Maple Valley on exchange w my dawg Sister Allsup. Last but not least, got to call Dave for Father's Day and SHODEE CAME TO CHURCH on Sunday, it was a miracle!  Oh also one of my facebook friends went to church with some elders in my zone!!! Super good stuff  Pretty solid if you ask me.  DADZ DAY My eyes get a little foggy when I think about how good my dad is. We all know Dave is a BIG NERD but I am so blessed to have a dad who isnt so serious. If we ever got into an argument, he would always apologize. When people make mistakes, he reminds me to forgive them! He is good at making people laugh and connecting with them, therefore brightening their day!!!  My parents bee...

Hey good news!!  I'm staying in Renton with Sister Hanni for another transfer! Its been a while since I've been with a companion for more than one transfer. Feeling grateful for a sense of stability while I'm settled in here. I know that won't last for long but it is a big blessing for me right now  Okay so quick rundown/ update on the work here. This area has been tracted a lot and while we have had lots of dots (info on people) saying that their interested... most of them are not. This week we did a big narrow down of our teaching pool and we are now kinda starting from ground zero  BUT i've seen so many miracles come from having the faith to drop people. AND GUESS WHAT the miracles came!!! Legit our NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR wants to be taught! MY CRAZY NEIGHBOR: Shodee (formally known as Chidi) You guys!!! I've been buddies with this dude for 12 weeks now. Wavin at him in passing and all the neighborly things. Just being real... this guy is wild. We werent actually...
