3 In R-Town

Hey good news!! 
I'm staying in Renton with Sister Hanni for another transfer! Its been a while since I've been with a companion for more than one transfer. Feeling grateful for a sense of stability while I'm settled in here. I know that won't last for long but it is a big blessing for me right now 

Okay so quick rundown/ update on the work here. This area has been tracted a lot and while we have had lots of dots (info on people) saying that their interested... most of them are not. This week we did a big narrow down of our teaching pool and we are now kinda starting from ground zero 


BUT i've seen so many miracles come from having the faith to drop people. AND GUESS WHAT the miracles came!!! Legit our NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR wants to be taught!


MY CRAZY NEIGHBOR: Shodee (formally known as Chidi)
You guys!!! I've been buddies with this dude for 12 weeks now. Wavin at him in passing and all the neighborly things. Just being real... this guy is wild. We werent actually quite sure how "all there" he is but we got to teach him for the first time on Saturday! Our lesson with him went so well and he is legit interested. He said "he wants to meet with us so he can feel the spirit more and patch up his life" so thats lit!!!!
We also have been calling him Chidi but apparently his name is actually Shodee. Just a kinda funny fun fact! Hopefully more updates on Shodee will come soon, PRAY FOR SHODEE (pronounced shawdee) 


WUT THE ITS JUNE 
Time is sure flying. Some days it doesn't feel like it and as you know, I tell my parents to come pick me up... (BTW my dad is in WA rn for work and he won't come get me #freakinjerk... send Dave hate mail) 


Other days, I remind myself how much im going to miss ALL of it! Hey siri play "You're Gonna Miss This" by Trace Adkins FR thats my anthem!!!
It's such a good reminder that we can find joy in TODAY, right now, in the present! It's always fun to think about how good the future is going to be, but I want to thank God more often for all the incredible things I am experiencing right now!! Life is so good. I love being a missionary!!!!!!!

Heyyy bffs! This week was absolutely nuts, I swear the weeks keep getting more chaotic everytime.  My BESTIE KAILEY SANNAR left me, then I was in a LIT trio with Sister Johnson and Sister Debloois! They are so fun. We went on a GOOD dab spree for those couple days. However during our time together we each got white wash calls (which means they take all the missionaries out of the area and replace them with new ones). Moral of the story, all together we whitewashed 4 areas. So that was interesting, kinda stressful but we survived. TRANSFERS: I love going to transfers and seeing so many friends!! I got transferred to good ole R-Town. Renton is more south in the mission than I'm used to so I'm excited for a change. Not So Funny

This week was awesome!!  We did lots of service and got to help out with all the kiddos in church yesterday! PRIMARY PROGRAM GOES CRAZY, we've been helping them prepare for their performance for a couple weeks now so it was really fun to see it put all together! Also a miracle that I got some of my bffs to sing #blessup  FUNNY (not so funny) moment of the week: we had to drop our friend. Sadly one of our friends.... was tryna be a lil more than friends with Sister Wallis. He had me straight up third wheeling so that was amusing but not for Sister Wallis. Rip Gary. Officially been a missionary for 4 months!! Even though I have a lot more time left, I've been reflecting on what I've experienced so far! Quite sure I say this every week, but I have been SO blessed! It is WILD to see how what I believe has changed and grown. It is a miracle in itself that I am here serving but even more so how many good things I have been given while doing so! HAPPY MONDAY!!!  Got to go to the temple on Friday with friends and it was SO fun! We grubbed at cafe rio after and this dude was tryna get our church address but it was a little sus how bad he wanted it so we are gonna send the Elders his way Funny story from this week! I was on an exchange with the stls and a car of boys asked for our numbers. It was a pretty funny interaction telling them how we are on missions and we don't date for a couple years Anyway enough with the weird things that happened... this week so awesome! Sister Hatt and I are bffs!!! We get cracked up about stuff all the time and I feel so grateful that she is my companion, the transfer is flying by so im gettin a wee bit nervous that change could be coming my way.
