Hey boys
This week was awesome!!!
We had transfers. That was not the awesome part... but I got to pick up all the new missionaries from the airport!!! Super weird being there tbh. So cool to get to meet all the new missionaries though! At transfers we lost a solider. We went from super lit trio: Sister Pack, Sister Ray and I.... to a joke cracking duo!!! Sister Ray and I are running up Burien this transfer by ourselves
Sister Pack was here for 6 months so we are adjusting to being in this area without her wisdom and knowledge. BUT I get to finish Sister Ray's training and its been so fun. She is hilarious. Plus, in the wee hours of the night she becomes a chef. She often makes me bread. Don't be surprised when I come home 200 lbs heavier
Here's a little update on a couple of the peeps we are teaching! I'm not good at sharing about them often so im trying to be better
QUEEN VIOLA
Viola is the cutest lil sassy lady who has been taught by missionaries since February! She had her baptism interview and is all set to go for Sept. 14th! She is SO ready!!!! We just can't wait
SUPER COOL SARITH
Sarith is my cambodian speaking friend. I ADORE HIM!!! One day we found him while knocking doors at a complex. Every single door we knocked was SO mean. Probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had on my mission. BUT ALAS... Sarith opens his door and was interested in learning more. Since, we have been teaching him consistently and he comes to church every week. We have to translate a lot into Cambodian so I do a lot of planning for his lessons. It is so fun to watch him learn. He is the sweetest guy
DA GIRLZ
We are teaching a family from Angola! They speak mostly Portuguese so our lessons are ALSO mainly translated. The Elders are teaching the dad but we get to teach the 4 girls!!! SO FUN!! They are so interested but the language barrier is hard for them to learn fast. Luckily, we have members who help us with those lessons
OKAY SIDE NOTE: this week was rainy and it got me so excited for fall!!! imma bout to have everything i own become a fall aesthetic somehow
Welp... crazy week but super solid week! I'm on my last 3 transfers so I am really cherishing everyday I get to be a missionary. I am still learning so much everyday and I feel so grateful for this sacred time God has given me!!!!!
YOU GUYS!!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! dont forget it
I'll be living my best state side missionary life at Target today! Come over. Lets hang, ok bye
