Elder Bragg Day
Hey bffs!
Elder Bragg from the seventy toured our mission this week. It was a great conference and I learned a lot. The spirit was so strong. I took many notes. Most of which were MAD humbling. I've got lots to work on but I'm glad the Lord doesn't leave us as we are! ️Ether 12:27 ️
Plus, I got to see my friends there. It was so fun but there's never enough time to catch up!! Can't wait to hang with them for real
Update on Sarith: If you can remember... he's slightly blind so we made him a HUGE baptism calendar and we wanted us to right down the commandments for him so he can remember them every day. I FREAKIN LOVE SARITH.
DONT TELL MY MOTHER:
While we were driving this week we stopped at an intersection. In the time we were at the red light, we saw a car get pulled over by a few cop cars, police get out with guns and arrest the guy driving. Interesting intersection I'd say. So there's that... along with all the other crazy shenanigans on the side of the road that we witness as we drive. Welcome to Burien
OH AND THIS REMINDS ME! A couple weeks ago we carpooled with the sisters and got into a hit n run! Guy hit the car, we signaled to pull over and the guy just kept going so we hurried and followed him and caught his license plate number hehe meany. Sister Ellis was so smooth with it. It was awesome.
86 DAYS LEFTS!!! but who's counting pshhh.... (me im counting. dang it )
ALTHOUGH hear me out....
I've been reflecting a lot on my mission and thinking of ways that I can work hard until the end. I want to be like Alma in this scripture.
Alma 36:24
"Yea, and from that time even until now, I have labored without ceasing, that I might bring souls unto repentance; that I might bring them to taste of the exceeding joy of which I did taste;"
There will be no other time where my day is filled with opportunities to seek miracles, share the gospel and serve others as much as it is now. I love being a missionary and I am grateful for every day I get to serve!!!!!
It is so hard to articulate the experiences I am having. They are so real and I wish I could emphasize it more.
Alma 26:16
"Behold, who can glory too much in the Lord? Yea, who can say too much of his great power, and of his mercy, and of his long-suffering towards the children of men? Behold, I say unto you, I cannot say the smallest part which I feel."
I love my Savior, Jesus Christ! I love my family and friends. Looking forward to chatting with all of you so soon
Love,
Sister Stewart
