Probably Goodbye
Hi everyone! I had an awesome week!!!
Last week before transfers and we had so many fun things!
Saturday was probably the highlight of my week. We had a lesson with my bff Sarith and served at the welcome tables in the morning. After, we got to do baptisms at the temple with Viola for her first visit. She felt nervous about it so she just watched but after she told us how much she loved it. Baptisms are one of my fav things to do at the temple! I'm getting excited to go to the temple all the time when I get home!!!!
After, we had a lesson with Danielle. She has lowkey been ghosting us for like a month. We put her on date a while back and things got busy in her life so she wasnt progressing. BUT we finally met with her! She still wants to be baptized but she needs to get hitched first. HALF WAY THROUGH OUR LESSON.... shes like oh ya.. i invited my friend to come but i didnt think she would actually come. Her friend was quite alarmed that she was meeting with "mormons" so we cleared up some MAD misconceptions and by the end of the lesson she was like "im totally going to read the Book of Mormon. I'll read a couple chapters tonight." I couldnt stop thinking about it after we left. I was shook. It was so good!!
I am thankful for answers to my prayers. I don't know everything and there are parts of my faith that are weaker. However, I keep learning and trusting that eventually the Lord will answer my questions. I can see that little by little he has. Reading the scriptures and understanding the gospel more for myself has brought so much peace to my mind.
On a more unfortunate note, things are wrapping up in Burien for me. My mission President told me I will be leaving this transfer so I have been saying my goodbyes and it is so sad. I'll be heading to my new unknown last area on Thursday! How crazy is that?! December is coming fast and slow and fast and way super slow but also fall is fun. I am excited for the good things that are coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok bye, love you
