Find Grind

Hi family!!! This is going to be a quick one! 
Things are going well here in good ole Sammamish.

It's harder to find people to teach here. Definitely different than Burien. Tracting isn't very effective but different ways of finding can be difficult too. Sister Duryea and I have been racking our brains with what we can do to help the work here. Our goal is to better work with the youth! The youth can influence so many people and we want to be good friends with them!! We have some exciting opportunities coming up to help us work with the youth and the members!

Ever tried to put Christ in Halloween? Well, this week we did! We helped our bff Nan Slaughter pull together a "day of the dead" themed room for the ward Halloween party! We tied it into family history and emphasized that is how we honor our ancestors. It was awesome. Nan went all out with the decor and everyone loved what we did!!! 

Not much else to update you on for this week but im having so much fun!!!!

Heyyy bffs! This week was absolutely nuts, I swear the weeks keep getting more chaotic everytime.  My BESTIE KAILEY SANNAR left me, then I was in a LIT trio with Sister Johnson and Sister Debloois! They are so fun. We went on a GOOD dab spree for those couple days. However during our time together we each got white wash calls (which means they take all the missionaries out of the area and replace them with new ones). Moral of the story, all together we whitewashed 4 areas. So that was interesting, kinda stressful but we survived. TRANSFERS: I love going to transfers and seeing so many friends!! I got transferred to good ole R-Town. Renton is more south in the mission than I'm used to so I'm excited for a change. South= a more humble crowd and it's already been very cool to see how willing/open people are to learning more about Jesus Christ.  My new companion is Sister Melton, she is a sweetie cutie petite little dumpling sugar plum! Not So Funny

This week was awesome!!  We did lots of service and got to help out with all the kiddos in church yesterday! PRIMARY PROGRAM GOES CRAZY, we've been helping them prepare for their performance for a couple weeks now so it was really fun to see it put all together! Also a miracle that I got some of my bffs to sing #blessup  FUNNY (not so funny) moment of the week: we had to drop our friend. Sadly one of our friends.... was tryna be a lil more than friends with Sister Wallis. He had me straight up third wheeling so that was amusing but not for Sister Wallis. Rip Gary. Officially been a missionary for 4 months!! Even though I have a lot more time left, I've been reflecting on what I've experienced so far! Quite sure I say this every week, but I have been SO blessed! It is WILD to see how what I believe has changed and grown. It is a miracle in itself that I am here serving but even more so how many good things I have been given while doing so! HAPPY MONDAY!!!  Got to go to the temple on Friday with friends and it was SO fun! We grubbed at cafe rio after and this dude was tryna get our church address but it was a little sus how bad he wanted it so we are gonna send the Elders his way Funny story from this week! I was on an exchange with the stls and a car of boys asked for our numbers. It was a pretty funny interaction telling them how we are on missions and we don't date for a couple years Anyway enough with the weird things that happened... this week so awesome! Sister Hatt and I are bffs!!! We get cracked up about stuff all the time and I feel so grateful that she is my companion, the transfer is flying by so im gettin a wee bit nervous that change could be coming my way.
