Same Chip Different Dip

Guys!! 

This week was lit and cool and awesome.

RANDOM FUNNY HIGHLIGHTS:

Not too many updates about anything really. 
Sister Duryea and I get into different sayings every week or 2, this weeks has been "awesome sauce"

We can't stop 

This week Sister Duryea randomly said "same chip different dip." Thus my email title. She's a funny gal. We are always cracking jokes n pranks.... 

Oh ya! A couple weeks ago a member pranked us and we got em back this week. We left a thank you note for feeding us with a fake spider next to it ans another fake spider in the bathroom. They said we got em real good. Fun times good times! 

LIL WEEK RECAP:
On Thursday, Sister Duryea cut a five year olds hair and I did their dishes! It was a members kid, and she basically just shortened his bowl cut. It was funny. The dad vaccumed the kids hair off her feet after and said "Jesus washed feet...and I vaccum them" 

Friday we went to the temple! Man it was just awesome and great!!! We always get to take a trip to Deseret book after, I love it there! 
On Friday we also a dinner with a member (kinda less active sorta idk) who's been very unresponsive to us! And she was SO AWESOME!! she moved from China like 11 years ago, and got baptized like 10 years ago. Her husband never got baptized, he wasnt there for dinner rip. She still doesn't know a lot about our church so she asked us a lot of questions and it was so cool!!!! 

Friday night and Saturday morning & afternoon, we helped paulina set up for her kids birthday party!! She goes ALL OUT for parties!! we got to stay for some of the party it was so fun!! 

Also we are STILL getting fed every single night. Even with us just having one ward and not two wards, we feel so spoiled!!! 

Sunday was cool because it was a missionary farewell and a homecoming!! & they were brothers! 

The homecoming talk, was probably the best missionary homecoming talk ever. His testimony was so powerful. One of the things he said was,
"Jesus literally loves you to death." I love that!

It was cool for me to hear his homecoming talk and reflect on my mission too!! Guys its wrapping up so quick. Thats legit next month for me. Wut. I don't want to leave Sammamish again. My people are here. I love them!!! 

The work here is lots of service and member work and tbh its my dream. This is where I thrive!!!!!! So grateful and blessed to be back. What a gift from God! 

Anyways that's all this week. I love you guys, He loves you more!

Heyyy bffs! This week was absolutely nuts, I swear the weeks keep getting more chaotic everytime.  My BESTIE KAILEY SANNAR left me, then I was in a LIT trio with Sister Johnson and Sister Debloois! They are so fun. We went on a GOOD dab spree for those couple days. However during our time together we each got white wash calls (which means they take all the missionaries out of the area and replace them with new ones). Moral of the story, all together we whitewashed 4 areas. So that was interesting, kinda stressful but we survived. TRANSFERS: I love going to transfers and seeing so many friends!! I got transferred to good ole R-Town. Renton is more south in the mission than I'm used to so I'm excited for a change. South= a more humble crowd and it's already been very cool to see how willing/open people are to learning more about Jesus Christ.  My new companion is Sister Melton, she is a sweetie cutie petite little dumpling sugar plum! Not So Funny

This week was awesome!!  We did lots of service and got to help out with all the kiddos in church yesterday! PRIMARY PROGRAM GOES CRAZY, we've been helping them prepare for their performance for a couple weeks now so it was really fun to see it put all together! Also a miracle that I got some of my bffs to sing #blessup  FUNNY (not so funny) moment of the week: we had to drop our friend. Sadly one of our friends.... was tryna be a lil more than friends with Sister Wallis. He had me straight up third wheeling so that was amusing but not for Sister Wallis. Rip Gary. Officially been a missionary for 4 months!! Even though I have a lot more time left, I've been reflecting on what I've experienced so far! Quite sure I say this every week, but I have been SO blessed! It is WILD to see how what I believe has changed and grown. It is a miracle in itself that I am here serving but even more so how many good things I have been given while doing so! HAPPY MONDAY!!!  Got to go to the temple on Friday with friends and it was SO fun! We grubbed at cafe rio after and this dude was tryna get our church address but it was a little sus how bad he wanted it so we are gonna send the Elders his way Funny story from this week! I was on an exchange with the stls and a car of boys asked for our numbers. It was a pretty funny interaction telling them how we are on missions and we don't date for a couple years Anyway enough with the weird things that happened... this week so awesome! Sister Hatt and I are bffs!!! We get cracked up about stuff all the time and I feel so grateful that she is my companion, the transfer is flying by so im gettin a wee bit nervous that change could be coming my way. However, I know that whatever happens will be for a reason and it will help me learn and grow!!!  As I have been more immersed in the scriptures on my mission, I have found so much joy through reading the Bible and the Book of Mormon!
